Amori Cautions Mosogar To Ignore Ill-Informed Agitators, Says King Still Alive

The Otota of Mosogar Kingdom, Chief Sen. Ighoyota Amori JP, has cautioned the people of Mosogar Kingdom to ignore ill-informed agitators.

Chief Amori who said the king of the kingdom is still alive, contrary to what a brother, Chief Joe Omene to the late king said on Thursday, where he disclosed that the monarch has passed on.

Amori opined that only the Otota is authorized to make such announcements.

According to him “today is the first day of December 2021, the last month of the year. It is the month when we retrospect many of our achievements, short- comings,.since the beginning of the year and also prepare for the coming year. It is not a time to throw jabs or respond to provocative utterances by ill-informed persons about happenings in our reverend Kingdom.”

He continued: “As the OTOTA OF THE KINGDOM, I appeal to everyone to remain calm and ignore ill- informed agitators. There MUST not be any response in the social media to people with perpetual provocative tendencies.

“All our Traditional activities and actions taking so far are STRICTLY in line with the laws/gazette establishing Mosogar Kingdom. The gazette must be followed STRICTLY and we are doing so.

“It is NOT officially known to the general public if anything has happened to our King yet. There are prescribed guidelines/ authority of communication in our gazette should otherwise happen. It is ONLY the OTOTA that is authorized by law/ gazette to make such pronouncement as there are four stages that must be followed before such announcement is SOLELY made by my humble self. NOBODY IN THE KINGDOM CAN DO OTHERWISE HENCE IT WILL BE SACRILEGIOUS.”

Furthermore, he said that “in view of the above stated facts, I once again appeal to all Mosogar sons and daughters to remain calm and go about their normal business. I will always keep you all posted as things unfold. BE REST ASSURED THAT FOR NOW OUR KING IS OFFICIALLY ALIVE, HAIL AND HEARTY.”

He called on indigenes of the kingdom “to keep maintaining the peace by giving deaf ears to all provocative utterances in the social media.”

Adding: “The boundaries of Mosogar can never be threatened by any one as the entire land of Mosogar is in our collective safe hands .We have no other Kingdom other than Mosogar Kingdom.There is a wise saying in Urhobo parlance….”today antelope, tomorrow antelope, ANTELOPE is not the only animal in the bush”…Time will tell.”
