Sapele: Frank Nujimen Empowers Widows, Youths, Women With N2.7M

Grassroot mobilizer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Frank Nujimen a.k.a Skypop on Sunday, December 12, 2021, empowered widows, youths and women from across the various wards in Sapele Local Government Area.

The beneficiaries which was drawn from the eleven wards of the local government area received the sum of ten thousand naira each, amounting to a total of 700,000 naira, while the widows forum received the sum of 2,000,000 naira, totalling the sum of N2,700,000 in all.

The CEO of Skypop foundation and award winner for youth and widow’s empowerment, Mr Nujimen said that his kind gesture was borne out of sympathy for humanity, adding that he decided to dole out cash in this holiday season to give succour to the needy which has been his yearly routine.

Adding that he will continue to assist the needy and put smiles on the face of the widows in society.

Chief Perkins Umukoro, PDP Chairman of Sapele local government area, described Mr Frank Nujimen as a philanthropist whose love for giving was unique, adding that the skypop empowerment did not start today.

It has been on, Frank Nujimen has always supported the LGA empowerment for various ward, he said.

Chief Eugene Inoaghan, Executive Chairman of Sapele Local Government, area while speaking during the empowerment program commended Mr Frank Nujimen for his kind gesture, saying that he is one young man that is worth identifying with.

He prayed that the good Lord in his infinite mercies will continue to bless him and provide for him.

The Delta State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Barr Kingsley Esiso who spoke in the same vein said that he is indeed impressed with the gesture of Mr Frank Nujimen hence he has come to appreciate him and encourage him to do more, noting that Mr Frank Nujimen is a role model worthy of emulation.

He further enjoined party faithful to support leaders that are progressive and competent rather than dwell on ethnicity and tribalism which often times are inimical to the growth and development of society.

One of the beneficiaries who gave her name as mama Ekene, thanked Mr Frank Nujimen for the initiative, adding that only God in his infinite mercies would reward him.

PDP leaders who were on ground to grace the event include, Chief Julius Egbedi, Hon Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr Richard Randy Okotie, CEO Richards Continental Hotel, Mr Isaac Okobabala, Mr Bright Abeke, Hon Commissioner representing Sapele, Ethiope West and Okpe LGAs on the board of DESOPADEC, Chief Benson Okorodudu, Chief Aghogho Adibor, Hon Richard Ogirisen, Hon Peter Eferurie Adjemiyota, Hon Stanley Kogoro, Hon Nasiru Ado and Hon Mrs Caroline Okpako.

Others are Hon Stanley Eta Eshanomi, Chief Festus Akume, Mr Martins, Lady Joyce Jemirheri, ward chairmen, women leaders from the various wards amongst other dignitaries.
