School Resumption: Oghoro Expresses Satisfaction With Compliance Of Teachers, Students In Delta

The Permanent Secretary, Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Augustine Oghoro has expressed satisfaction with the level of compliance of students and teachers to resumption in the state public schools .
Oghoro stated this in Asaba while monitoring school resumption for the second term academic session.
The Permanent Secretary, who was accompanied by the Director of Schools, Mrs. Clementina Ojumah described the turn out of pubils and students as well as teachers as quite impressive.
Oghoro stressed the strong need for teachers to redouble their commitments towards ensuring that they impacted positively on the children , adding that parents should prepare their children early enough for school.

While saying that Okowa administration had continue to provide enabling environment for effective teaching and learning in the state public schools, the Permanent Secretary enjoined students to shun social vices and their studies seriously.
In their separate remarks, the Principal of West End Mixed Secondary School, Mrs. Augusta Ogeah , the principal of Unity Model Secondary School , Asaba Mrs. Roseline Ojei and the Headmaster of Government Primary School, Junior Staff Quarters Asaba, Mr. Emma Okafor said that they were cleaning the school in preparation for learning activities.
They said that teachers were already in school prepaying for the resumption test later in the week, adding that they were ready to put in their best for the overall well-being of the students in the state even as the principals requested for additional teachers.
Schools monitored included West End Mixed Secondary School,
Government Model Secondary School, Government Primary School, and Ozoigwe Primary School all in Asaba as well as the Unity Model Secondary School in the State Capital Territory.
