Ederaine Writes Open Letter To PDP Delegates As Gubernatorial Primaries Draw Closer
Dear Distinguished Delegates,
History has bestowed on you the privilege to play significant roles in deciding the flag-bearer of your great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at the upcoming Delta state Gubernatorial Primaries.
I Mr Edward Ederaine
and the good people of Okpe-Sapele-Uvwie Federal Constituency felicitate with you for the honour given you amongst many to decide a possible path for the further development of the human and physical resources of the state.
As we recognise your humble feats, we seek your support for equity and fairness to further consolidate the peaceful co-existence in the state by supporting our 2023 OSU Governorship vision to have one of the capable and well-experienced aspirants from our Federal Constituency as the flag-bearer of your party and Governor of our dearcstate, come 2023.

Our agitation is predicated on the fact that we have eminently qualified aspirants in the primaries and also, on the need for social justice, equity and fairness as we have supported others in sustaining the gentleman’s agreement of rotating the position around the state. With its return to Delta-Central, it is only fair that a suitable candidate from the constituency which has never produced a Governor in the zone is considered.
Times like these are the tests of the will of real men and women as we know that diverse pressure and inducement will be deployed to sway you from your conscience; please, like the men and women of steel that you all are, remain astute and focused, and let justice prevail.
Okpe-Sapele-Uvwie Constituency and the entire Delta state will be in your debt.
Your Faithfully,
Edward Ederaine
