Police Arrest Suspected Killers Of Missing Abuja Corps Member

Police in Abuja say they have apprehended three suspects involved in the killing of an NYSC member that went missing last month.

The deceased, Terungwa Stephenie, was a 26-year-old National Youth Service Corps member serving in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the arrest of the suspects, adding that they would be charged to court after investigation.

The three suspects include Jenifer Tsembe (female), 26; Monday Simon (male and also known as Black), 36; and Solomon Abu (male), 35.

The trio in their statement were said to have confessed to killing the late Ms Stephanie.

Adeh said police were on the hunt to arrest other suspects.

The late Stephenie went missing on April 14, while attending her NYSC CDS exercise.

Her relatives said that she got abducted and her baby left behind by her abductors. Her corpse was later recovered with her vital organs missing.
