The organizers said his award of Doctor of Philosophy ( Honoris Causa) was due to his input in legal and humanitarian services.
Speaking to Oasis Magazine exclusively, Chief Dr. (Barr.) Emudainohwo, said he is excited that people recognise what he is doing.
He added: “I see it as a challenge. There is something inside me that is telling me to assist my community. At my age, getting an award of recognition from the community from a European body as regards to what I am and what I have been doing for the community is a thing of joy and a challenge for me to continue to do more and double my effort.”
He dedicated the award to God for giving him the grace to be who he is.
“Assisting community is not done without financial contribution. So, many people want to help but they don’t have the resources to. So if God gives to you, give some out to the community; let them feel it. So I thank God for giving me that comfort and heart to help people and express myself,” he added.
