Delta Model Schools Entrance Exams To Hold July 23
…As Sale Of Forms Continues

The sale of entrance forms for examination into the seventeen Delta State Model Schools scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 23, 2022 is still ongoing.
A statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Augustine Ede Oghoro on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu indicated that the sale of forms would end on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
The statement emphasised that the entrance examination would hold on Saturday, July 23 , 2022 in twenty one (21) Centres which would include the seventeen Model Secondary Schools, West End Mixed Secondary school, Asaba, Utagba-Ogbe Grammar School, Kwale , Hussey College Centre II , Warri and Urhobo College II, Effurun.

The statement further added that prospective candidates who were seeking admission into JS I and JS 2 must possess at least a minimum pass in the State Cognitive / Placement Examination, stressing that candidates applying for admission into SS I and SS2 must possess the Basic Certificate Examination in addition to a pass in the Cognitive / Placement Examination.
The statement advised candidate to purchase scratch card at the field office of the Chief Inspectors of Education (CIEs) and the Model Schools to be able to gain access to the registration form online through the Ministry’s Portal on http://www.deltamobse.net
It explained that the admission into the State Model Secondary Schools would be strictly based on success of any candidate in the entrance examination.
According to the statement Model Schools included Government Model Secondary School, Onicha-Olona, Aniocha North, St. Anthony’s College, Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South, Ogini Model Secondary School, Ogharefe , Ethiope West , Owa Model Secondary School, Owa-Oyibu , Ika North East ,Ogbemudein Model Secondary School, Boji-Boji Agbor , Ika South, Government Model Secondary School, Asaba, Oshimili South, Government Model Secondary School,Oginibo in Ughelli South and Government Model Secondary School, Patani in Patani Local Government Area of the state.
Others according to Mr. Oghoro were Chude Girls Model Secondary School, Sapele , Sapele Local Government Area, Government College, Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Government Model Secondary School, Evwreni , Ughelli North, Unity Model Secondary School, Agbarho, Ughelli North , Urhobo College, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, Alema Model Secondary School,Abigborodo, Warri North , Hussey College, Warri , Nana College , Warri and Delta Secondary School, Warri in Warri South Local Government Area of the state.
