BREAKING: Jigawa Govt Orders Schools’ Closure Over Fear Of Terror Attack
The Jigawa government on Wednesday directed schools in the state to shut down and release their students immediately.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the immediate closure of all public schools in the state was due to fear of terrorist attacks on schools.
Learning centres were abruptly closed on Wednesday morning while pupils were taking their terminal examinations.

The sudden closure has caused panic among residents and students. Many of the pupils were stranded.
The Civic Education examination billed to hold on Thursday has also been affected by the government’s directive.
Terrorists known locally as bandits are keen to prove they are not a spent force despite a military offensive that has run them out of many enclaves.
Dozens of persons have been killed in the yearslong crisis in the North. A lot of people have been driven from their homes as well.
