Delta CP Presents N26M To Families Of Deceased Officers

On 20/10/2022, CP Ari Muhammed Ali FCIA, PSC+ on behalf of the Inspector General of Police IGP Alkali Baba Usman, PSC+, FDC, NPM, CFR presented twenty-six million, one hundred and seventy thousand, seven hundred and sixty naira (#26,170,760) cheques to families of deceased officers who died while in active service.

The cheques issued to the next of kins of seven deceased officers, is part of the IGP insurance welfare scheme, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, said in a statememt on Friday.

The CP while presenting the cheques, appreciated the gesture exhibited by the IGP as the cheques will in no small way, act as a boost to the families and also to let them know that though their loved ones are no more, the force did not forget their sacrifices.

The beneficiaries thanked the IGP for his magnanimity, noting that the money given to them will be used judiciously.
