Christmas: DPO Throws ‘Party’ For Detainees In Akwa Ibom

Detainees at the Etinan Divisional Police Station under the Akwa Ibom State Command of the Nigeria Police had a fun-filled time on Christmas Day as the Divisional Police Officer, SP Felix Ekpoudom, treated them to a wonderful buffet.

Assorted dishes, chewables and soft drinks were offered to the ecstatic detainees by the DPO, who later took time to preach and interact with them.

The supercop assured them of the love and care by officers of the Division under him.

He maintained that his dedication to effective policing in line with global best standards has made him abhor intimidation, starvation, torture and any form of maltreatment of detainees in all the Divisions he has so far served in the country.

The DPO commended the Commissioner of Police, CP Olatoye Durosinmi and officers of the Etinan Division and the entire Akwa Ibom State Police Command for being committed to ensuring criminality is effectively tackled in the state.

The suspects were very appreciative of the gesture.
