APC Exco Members In Ukwuani LGA Set To Dump Party

Some executive members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State are set to resign their positions and exit the party.

This was disclosed after a meeting of the aggrieved exco members and some members of the party that held recently in Obiaruku.

The aggrieved Exco members who are are set to leave the party are:
1. Mr. Odigidawu Favour – LGA Secretary
2. Dcn Ben l. Olokume – LGA Financial Secretary
3. Mr. Edwin Ifeanyi -. LGA Auditor
4. Chief Etu Sunday E. – LGA Assistant Treasurer
5. Mr. Okpor Augustine – LGA Welfare Secretary
6. Mr. Emi Chukwunwike Wisdom – LGA Organising Secretary
7. Mr. Maxwell Ishikwene – LGA Ex-offcio
8. Mr. Chukwudi Friday – LGA Assistant Welfare Secretary and among others from the ten wards in the council area.

Speaking on behalf of the aggrieved members known as Integrity Group, Dcn Ben I. Olokume said that the members are set to drop their positions and leave the party due to the way the LGA party Chairman is running the party, adding that the chairman is running the party as a one man show with the backing of some people who call themselves leaders and campaign Council of the Local Government Area.

He stated that the LGA Party Chairman does things without carrying his Exco members along.

Dcn Olokume said that a meeting has been fixed between some of the aggrieved members in the ten wards and the aggrieved members of Ukwuani Local Government Exco of the Party.

He said that the group members and some of their leaders who are also leaders of the party in the Local Government Area are still deliberating on their choice of party to move to after the meeting with the ward members of Integrity Group.
