Okowa To Seek Approval For N12 Billion Loan Tuesday
By Daniel Dafe
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State will on Tuesday seek approval from the State House of Assembly to borrow N12 billion.
Recall that several loans have been approved and collected in recent times with little or nothing to show for it in the state, with many alleging that such was to financial the presidential campaign of the Atiku/Okoea ticket.
Publisher of Secret Reporters ,Fejiro Oliver, revealed this via a Facebook post on Saturday.
According to him, the governor claims that it will be used to pay all gratuities in the state.
Describing the said loan as a bribe to pensioners to get their votes on Saturday during the presidential and NASS elections, he called on Deltans to reject the loan totally.
Adding: “Enough is enough. This loan will not fly.”
