Delta Governor-Elect, Oborevwori To Receive INEC Certificate Of Return On Wednesday March 29

The winner of the Governorship Election in Delta State under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Governor-Elect, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, the Deputy Governor-Elect, Sir Monday Onyeme, as well as members elect of Delta State House of Assembly, have been invited by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to receive their Certificates of Return.
INEC Delta in an official letter on Monday, stated that the presentation ceremony will take place at the Commission’s office in Asaba at 10am prompt.

The brief presentation ceremony will be attended by special invitees only, requiring the Governor-Elect, his deputy and House Members elect to restrict their guests to five, four and three persons respectively, in that order, considering the size of the Commission’s Conference Hall.
The amended Electoral Act specifically stated that Certificates of Return must be presented to winners within 14 days after elections.
