Ita Enang Says APC Has No Guber Candidate In Akwa Ibom
A former presidential aide, Senator Ita Enang, has declared that the All Progressives Congress, APC, has no gubernatorial candidate for Saturday.
He spoke on channels television current affairs program, Politics Today, monitored in Lagos on Tuesday.
Enang said despite the celebrations by Akainomo Udofia that he’s the candidate, Supreme Court, according to him did not confer any candidature on Udofia nor him.
He, however, pleaded that Akwa Ibom should vote for the APC on Saturday since it’s the logo of the party that’ll be on the ballot.

The APC chieftain said it’s unfortunate that some people who were not in the APC at the formative stage in 2014 have taken over the party.
Enang contended that Udofia was not a member of the APC on May 27, 2022 when the governorship primary took place.
He said; “ The certified true copy of the Supreme Court judgement will be out tomorrow or Thursday, but it did not confer candidate on any of us. I can tell you that APC has no gubernatorial candidate in Akwa Ibom on Saturday. “
