National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Debo Ologunagba, announced this at a Press Conference Today, at the PDP Secretariat.

Recall that the PDP national chairman Ayu was earlier suspended by his ward executive over alleged anti-party activities.

Oasis Magazine reports that the Senator Ayu’s suspension was announced by the ward executive of the party at Igyorov Ward of Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday by the Secretary, Vangeryina Dooyum, on behalf of Kashi Philip, the Ward Chairman.

A High Court judge, Justice W.I. Kpochi, gave the interim order on Monday in the suit No. MHC/85/2023 as filed at the court by Terhide Utaan with Ayu and the PDP as defendants.

The interim injunction restrained Senator Ayu from parading himself as the National Chairman of the PDP.

Meanwhile, before the court order, Senator Iyorchia Ayu responded to his suspension by his ward party excos, as Ayu quoted the PDP’s constitution, but a High Court in Makurdi, Benue State later issued an interim injunction restraining him from parading himself as the National Chairman of the PDP.
