“Okowa Naw Try,” Odebala, Says, As He Confirms Defection To APC

Former Gubernatorial aspirant in Delta State, Hon Ejaife Omizu Odebala has dumped the People’s Democratic Party to join the All Progressives Congress, APC just hours before the gubernatorial polls in the state.

Recal that Odebala was amongst aspirants in the 2022 PDP primaries but lost out after the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Speaker, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori emerged as the party’s flagbearer.

Confirming his departure via a telephone chat with Rero TV, Odebala said “Rero TV I Don join APC ooo Okowa no try.”

The effect of Odebala’s decamping is sure to be heavy on the party.
