Professor Nwachukwu Delivers DELSU 98th Inaugural Lecture

Head of Department, Health and Safety Education, Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka, Professor Augustine Emeka Nwachukwu, on Thursday delivered the 98th in the series of Inaugural Lectures of the institution.
His lecture, entitled, “The Thorny Angles of Industrialization: Strategies for Intervention,” x-rayed the hazards of industrial, biological and consumer based wastes, and recommended strategies for integrated waste management in Nigeria.

Speaking at the occasion, while commending Prof Nwachukwu for the originality of his research, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andy Egwunyenga, added that ideas espoused in the lecture will guide the development of a Health and Safety Manual for DELSU.
