Edwin Clark to Aniagwu: I Don’t Know Who You Are, But You Have Put Okowa Into More Trouble

During an interview with TVC News, Sir Edwin Clark, Elder Statesman, tackled Charles Aniagwu, the former Commissioner for Information, Delta, for saying he accused Okowa of lying and that all the things he said were not true.
Sir Edwin Clark stated that he does not know who he is, but he has put the former governor of Delta State into more trouble.

He revealed that he was part of those who made sure Okowa became governor, and by so doing, he had the right to ask questions as regards his governance.
He added that the former governor withheld the 13% derivation meant for the people and made them suffer unnecessarily.
He further stated that people are appealing to him to let Okowa be since his administration is over.
He, however, stated that Okowa has crossed the line and must be called to pay the money meant for the people.
According to him, “As a leader of the south and of people in Delta State, whether I help Okowa become governor or not, I must ask questions.”
“The people are suffering. When the vice president visited Okirikoko to see Maritime University, he jokingly said, I thought because of the oil we’re producing, you’d like to buy it.”
“Ask the vice president. So Okowa is lying. This Aniagwu—I don’t know who he is—has put him into more trouble. Now, they’re appealing to me to please let him go. I said, No, he has crossed the red line, and the people must have their money.”
