Hon. Dr. Wilson Ekwerekwu reportedly represented the Nigeria Special Envoy for African and Middle-East Economic Sustainability Alliance (AMEESA), a United States-based Socio-economic Organization with headquarters in New York, for the special Award presentation to the immediate past Executive Assistant on Communications to the Governor of Delta State, Chief Barr. Fred Oghenesivbe Latimore, in the State capital, Asaba.

According to our reporter, the information was disclosed briefly to newsmen on Thursday stating that “Yesterday, I Represented the Special Envoy to Nigeria for African and Middle-East Economic Sustainability Alliance (AMEESA), His Excellency Ambassador Oluwagbenga David, in the Award presentation to the immediate past Executive Assistant on Communications to the Governor of Delta State, Chief Barr. Fred Oghenesivbe Latimore, in the State capital, Asaba”.

He said that the Award was in recognition of his exceptional dedication to improving public services through result-oriented Strategic Communication and Diplomacy, earlier contained in a letter issued by the Special Envoy to Nigeria, His Excellency, Ambassador Oluwagbenga David, to Fred Oghenesivbe Latimore.

He noted that the letter conveyed the unsolicited approval of the Organization’s Board led by the Founding President H.E. Ambassador Dr. Nakiim Bey as an etiquette of accolade for government stakeholders in Africa and the Middle East, whose initiative, courage, perseverance, and excellence portray the strength of character, and qualities of leadership that make them Pacesetters.

He maintained that the AMEESA’s idea of Latimore’s involvement in advancing community cohesion and promoting civic awareness, setting a pace that models a way for others to follow is impressively overwhelming, adding that he will be invited to the organization headquarters in New York, for an all-exclusive interview targeted at fostering solutions to socio-economic issues in Nigeria.
