Convener, Integrity Group, Delta State, Ambassador Oke Idawene, has said that since assumption of office, President Bola Tinubu has so far shown that he is not ready for governance.

Ambassador Idawene who spoke to Oasis Magazine in a telephone conversation, hinged his assertion on the president’s slow pace of attending to issues bedeviling Nigerians.

He cited the non-availability of palliatives the Federal Government promised Nigerians to cushion the effect of the fuel.subsidy removal, saying it looked like it will take forever for Nigerians to get any form of palliatives.

He added: “They neither have solution for the palliatives nor the fuel subsidy. They are doing the right things at a wrong time without due process nor due consideration. Right. now, Nigerians are suffering. There is no need to play games nor the passing of blames to Buhari. You came and said it was your turn meaning you are ready for governance. Nigerians gave you their mandate; although still in court, but for the past few months since they gave you their endorsement, you have shown that you are not worthy.”

According to him, he said with recent realities, it is obvious to Nigerians “that the broom cannot save Nigeria and they should rally round the umbrella to get the nation working again.

“Tinubu and APC are not ready for governance,” he averred.

To President Tinubu, he said: “It is time to brace up or leave the stage for those that are ready for governance because without right economic policies, the nation will crash.

Speaking.further, he said that he is shocked that “up till now, the minsterial list is still not out.”

“We thought you had a team on ground; what is your aim? I call on all Nigerians both home and abroad to rise up and pressure the government of the day to do what is right or get out of the stage. Nigerians cannot go through a hard time under the new president again after what they suffered under Buhari,” he said.
