Private School Owners Congratulate Commissioners In Charge Of Primary, Basic And Secondary Education In Delta

Private school owners in Delta State under the aegis of Association of Private School Owners of Nigeria, APSON, Delta State Wing, have congratulated the new commissioners of Primary Education and Basic and Secondary School Education,
Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu and Mrs. Rose Ezewu respectively.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday approved the assignment of portfolios to newly sworn-in Commissioners in the state.

The approval for the assignment of portfolios was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu on Tuesday evening.

The statement listed Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu as Commissioner for Primary Education and Mrs. Rose Ezewu as Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education.

Reacting, APSON while congratulating the duo, opined that it was a case of round pegs in round holes.

In a statement signed by
Comrade Keno Emiaso, Chairman, APSON, Delta, the body, said: “The association felicitates with the commissioners for Secondary Education and that of Primary Education. The association will work with the commissioners and the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education to move education forward in the state.”

Comrade Emiaso also thanked the Governor of the state for reappointing Mrs. Rose Ezewu.

“We have no doubt that they will perform excellently well,” the statement added.

Furthermore, APSON urged every stakeholder in the educational sector in the state to rally support for the new commissioners to succeed, saying that education remains the bedrock of any society.
