Rose Obi Elected Secretary General Of NAPPS In Delta

The immediate past Chairman of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Uvwie Local Government Area, Comrade ( Mrs ) Rose Obi has been elected Secretary General of the Delta State Chapter of the association.
Other executive members of Delta State Chapter of NAPPS that were elected last weekend included : Mrs P. N Young ( Chairman ) , P . O Ovoh (Vice Chairman ) ,Mbulu Patrick ( Assistant Secretary General )Mrs Dorcas Akpoguma ( Financial Secretary ) Lucky Oduye ( Assistant Financial Secretary ) , Nneka Ike ( Welfare Officer ), and Dorcas Oguntoyinbo ( Assistant Welfare Officer ).
Elections into the positions of treasurer, publicity and auditor of the state chapter of the association were still pending as at the time of filing this report.
Comrade ( Mrs ) Obi doubles as the Vice Chairman of Counseling Association Of Nigeria ( CASSON ), Delta State Chapter.

Mrs Obi who spoke to newsmen shortly after her election, promised to work in harmony with the state chairman and other executive of NAPPS , Delta State Chapter and to also use her experience to contribute her quota to the growth of the association.
She had earlier appreciated God for her eIection, saying: “I return the glory to God. It is my prayer that in this tenure God will use the executive members to build on the foundation laid by our founders because it is one thing to come on board , it is another to continue, if we fail to continue, we may miss it.
” I wish to express my thanks to the South South Vice President, Dr Ochuko Akpeme, for his effort in ensuring that NAPPS stands out.
” It is my prayer that God will take this executive and the association to greater heights in Jesus name. Amen,” she added.
