BREAKING: FG Declares Monday Public Holiday
President Bola Tinubu-led government has declared the 2nd of October, 2023 as a public holiday in commemoration of Nigeria’s 63rd independence anniversary.
This was announced in a statement released by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Dr Oluwatoyin Akinlade

According to Akinlade, the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo made the declaration in Abuja on behalf of the federal government.
She said, “Dr Olubunmi assured Nigerians of the Government’s continued commitment to tackling challenges facing the country.
