Group Congratulates Bagou On His Appointment As Technical Assistant To The Governor, Commends Gov Diri

The Agoro Progressive Youths Forum (APYF) has congratulated the former Publicity Secretary of APC in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Comrade Preye Bagou, on his appointment as Technical Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties.

Mr Preye Bagou who is an indigene of Agoro, Agorogbene and Ogobiri communities respectively, all in ward eleven (11) under Sagbama Local Government Area, defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He was received back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the Miracle Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri in Government House, Yenagoa the state capital in August, 2023. Bagou’s defection created so many reactions on social media platforms.

The group described Preye Bagou’s appointment as Technical Assistant to the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, as a square peg in a square hole, considering his wealth of knowledge, experience and undoubtable capability to perform beyond expectation of the office.

The spokesman of the group, Engr. Dennis Bagou, made this known during a stakeholders meeting in Agoro community, commended the miracle Governor, Senator Douye Diri, for finding an illustrious son of the community worthy to serve the Prosperity Government.

“The appointment is a well-deserved political upliftment and recognition of a committed, consistent, talented, efficacious activist, which is a great welcome development and step in the right direction towards preparing and building the youths for effective leadership in public offices.

The group stated that there is no doubt of the appointee’s competence and capability to function effectively in handling the office, by promoting the developmental strives, policies and programmes of the Governor and the Prosperity Government.

The group applauded the governor and the prosperity government for the remarkable level of work done in the Sagbama-Ekeremor road, including the construction of the Bulou-Orua-Toru-Ebeni road, which is ongoing at sand filling stage to link up several neighboring communities.

The group spokesman assured the governor, the prosperity government and the PDP of the community’s total support to ensure the victory of the Governor, Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo come November 11th gubernatorial election in the state.
