Hon Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu Condoles Victims Of Fire Incident At Ugbenu Oghara

…Calls On FG To Expedite Action On The Rehabilitation Of The Benin-Warri Road
The honorable member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency has condoled with victims of fire incident as a result of a fallen tanker along the failed portion of the Warri-Benin Federal road at Ugbenu-Oghara.
In a statement from her media office, she expressed sadness over the terrible incident that had led to loss of lives and properties.
Hon. Ibori-Suenu noted with sadness, that this incident is happening at a time, many families, particularly low income earners and vulnerable Nigerians are experiencing the pains of the current economic hardships.
She also called on the federal ministry of works to expedite action on the rehabilitation of the road which has now become a death trap, stressing her committment to using her legislative platform to continue to push for the timely rehabilitation of the road.
She however reiterated the danger of rushing to the scene of accident, involving petroleum tanker vehicles, so as to avoid unnecessary loss of lives and properties.
The Hon. Member also expressed appreciation to first responders, who did their best to mitigate the effects of the explosion, further expressing hope that, those hospitalised for various degrees of injuries receive adequate treatment.
