2024 Budget: "Deltans Are In For A Great Deal" --Akpowowo

Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Olorogun (Barr .) Arthur Akpososo, has assured Deltans that with the signing of the 2024 appropriation bill into law, Deltans should rest assured that 2024 will be a great year.

Akpowowo said this in a Facebook post on Wednesday after the governor assented to the 2024 appropriation bill.

His words: “This morning I in company of my boss (Mr Speaker) and principal officers of the most vibrant House in Nigeria, were in Government House to present the 2024 appropriation bill for assent by H.E Rt. Hon. (Elder) SHERRIFF FRANCIS O. OBOREVWORI, Governor of Delta State.”

He added: “With his assent, we now have appropriation Law 2024 and I make bold to say that Deltans are in for a great deal.”
