LASU VC Visits Oniba, Felicitates Him On 3rd Coronation Anniversary

The Vice-Chancellor, Lagos State University, LASU, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, on Wednesday, 20th December 2023, paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of the Iba Kingdom, HRM, Oba Suleiman Raji Ashade, the Oniba of Iba Kingdom to felicitate him on the 3rd anniversary of his coronation.

The Vice-Chancellor, who was accompanied on the visit by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Adenike Boyo, and her (the VC’s) aides congratulated the royal father on the first three years of his impactful reign and thanked him for his support for her administration and the university as a whole.

They were received by the Oniba in company of traditional rulers from other communities in the Badagry and Ikeja Divisions who had converged on the Palace for a meeting. It turned out to be an outing to remember as the traditional rulers united to offer prayers for the VC and the University.
