Bye Election: APC Leaders Approve Fuad Kayode Laguda
Key leaders in the All-Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State on Sunday described the House of Representatives candidate in Surulere Constituency 1, Fuad Laguda as a thorough gentleman and consistent political character.
‘’Our support for the APC candidate is total. He is consistent and understands the psyche of the people’’.
The Lagos leaders also contended that it is based on the candidate’s commitment and passion for service that Aso Rock and APC headquarters recently endorsed him.
‘’They know his kind of person is what Surulere needs now’’.
At a well-attended meeting in Surulere on Sunday, the notable APC leaders through their spokesman, Taiwo Alao (Tolani Twins) stressed on political experience, the wide acceptance of Laguda, his outstanding leadership qualities and potentials to spread prosperity in Surulere Constituency 1.
A formal motion was read in this respect by the Chairman of Lagos Unity Forum (LUF), Tolani Twins and was however approved by the teeming APC leaders and members in the constituency.

The leaders spoke glowingly of the achievements of the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila.
They praised him for providing a framework on which his successor can build.
‘’Surulere has witnessed tremendous improvement in infrastructural development, human capacity development and empowerment’’.
The Lagos APC leaders also praised Gbajabiamila for the high-class projects in Surulere, impressive roads, community development, and mobilization of the people into a vibrant and cohesive reservoir of development energy.
They commended the former Speaker of the House of Representatives for providing an environment upon which ideas, entrepreneurial and development activities thrive.
‘’We firmly believe that after these years of proper representation, Surulere needs a Fuad Laguda’’
