BREAKING: Rivers Governor Appoints Former Assembly Speaker, Edison As Chief Of Staff

Governor Sim Fubara has named the immediate past Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie, as the new Chief of Staff of Rivers State Government House.

Recall that Rt. Hon. (Barr) Ehie, Ogerenye Edison- Ph.D, DSSRS resigned his position as Speaker and quit as lawmaker.

This is coming after President Tinubu intervened in the political crisis in the state and came up with some resolutions.

Among the resolution was the reinstatement of the former speaker of the house which means the current speaker has to relinquish his position.
