By Daniel Dafe
Patrick Obahiagbon, a former federal lawmaker, has said that the dance video posted by popular comedienne, Emmanuella Samuel popularly known as Emmanuella that caused a stir on the internet, was “extremely incongruous with her tender age.”
The clip shared on internet revealing Emmanuella dancing in a black slit gown before a camera, ignited a stir among netizens regarding the appropriateness of her content given her age.
Emmanuella, renowned for her comedic performances on Mark Angel’s YouTube channel, gained fame following her debut on episode 34 titled “Who Mess?”
In the viral clip, 13-year-old Emanuella was seen showing off her dance moves before moving back for the camera to capture her full outfit and catwalking back to the front.
The video of the young girl soon went viral on social media and raised a series of controversial reactions.
While some fans were in awe of her growth, others were displeased by her dance moves.
Reacting, Obahiagbon, on X said: “It’s morally reprehensible for Emmanuella to disseminate that video showing her performing choreographic movements.”
According to him, “it behooves her family to safeguard her innocence more vigilantly.”
