Flyover Projects: Abe 1 Charges Security Agents On Workers Safety

HRM (Dr) Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1, Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom has tasked the combined government security agents on the safety of workers that are involved in the multi billion naira flyover projects in Uvwie and Warri South Local Government Areas.

The traditional ruler gave the charge when the Police Area Commander in charge of Warri Area Command, ACP Mohammed Bashir Abubaker paid him a courtesy visit at his palace, GRA Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area on Wednesday, 13th December, 2023.

Abe 1 stated that it was his desire that the projects were completed on schedule without any challenge and therefore all hands must be on deck to ensure that lives of staff of Julius Berger and the entire residents were safe.

Abe 1 reasoned that a safe environment will attract investors to the area.

He had earlier thanked ACP Mohammed Bashir Abubaker for the visit.

ACP Abubaker had explained that it was expedient for him to pay the visit for him to receive royal blessing from the highly esteemed tradititioal ruler on assumption of office.

He also thanked the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom for the red carpet reception accorded him and his entourage.

High point of the event was a special prayer said for ACP Mohammed by the Uvwie monarch.

The Seriki (leader ) of Arewa Community in Uvwie Local Government Area , Alhaji Sulaiman Jauro who spoke to our correspondent on the visit commended ACP Mohammed for the visit.

Jauro who is a member of Ovie of Uvwie Palace Security Committee declared his unalloyed support and loyalty to Abe 1 on behalf of the Arewa people in Uvwie Local Government Area.

He asserted that the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom has treated them as indigenes and not as strangers in Uvwie Kingdom.
