Oasis Magazine Bags IHRC ‘Change Maker Award’

Oasis Magazine has been recognized by the International Human Rights Commission, IHRC, for its outstanding achievement in community building and support for humanitarian initiatives.
The prestigious ‘Change-Maker Award and 2023 ‘Social Service Human Rights Award ‘ was received on behalf of the media house by the Publisher, Daniel Umukoro, on Saturday, 23rd December, 2023, during an event at Riodes Hotel, Abraka.
The IHRC is a Transnational Intergovernmental Organization based in Zurich, Switzerland with Swiss accreditation number ‘CHE-388.075.145’ and having its Diplomatic Representation in the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs Department of the European Union.
IHRC honors individuals for their outstanding achievements in community development and leadership, contributing consistently and uncompromisingly to supporting Humanitarian initiatives in Delta State.
Reacting, Publisher of Oasis Magazine, Umukoro, said he was humbled by the honour.
He added: “This award is dear to us since it is coming from a noble organisation. It will spur us to do more.”
He thanked IHRC for the recognition and promised that the media house will continue to stand out and contribute her own quota in making the world a better place for all.
