2024 CIV AFCON: Kudos To Bench, Victory Well Deserved –Harrison Ocholor

Former Chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Comrade Harrison Ocholor, has commended Coach Jose Peseiro’s technical substitution which lead to a hard fought victory of the Super Eagles of Nigeria against a determined Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Ocholor who many see as the most experienced among the right persons aspiring to be appointed as the next Chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, commended the Nigeria Super Eagles’ performance in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
“Hard fought Victory for the Super Eagles. Our boys played like the stars they are and kudos must go to the bench for the substitutions made which saw renewed vigor. There were moments of loss of concentration but they were resilient. It’s a victory well deserved”.

The veteran broadcaster and board member of the Delta State Football Association, DFA who also partners the sponsorship of Topsportsafrik predict and win promo of the ongoing Afcon Semi Finals, urged the players to continue with their resilient efforts against host and a reborn Ivory Coast team in the final without underrating them after defeating them 1-0 in the group stage.
Nigeria will again face Ivory Coast on Sunday, February 11, at 22GMT for the grand 7million dollars grand prize.
While the 3rd place match between South Africa against Dr Congo will kickoff 21GMT Saturday, February 10.
