Delta NAPPS Passes Vote Of Confidence On Chairman, Suspends Akpeme

Rising from the 32nd State General Meeting held on Wednesday, at Ubuluku in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, members of the National Association of Proprietors of Private School, NAPPS, in the state have passed a vote of confidence on the Chairman, Mrs. Young P.N.
The said meeting held at St Mark Anglican Church Hall.
A statement issued at the end of the meeting by NAPPS, added that “after a thorough examination of the matter that made Dr Ochuko Akpeme, the erstwhile NVP South South to pronounce a purported expulsion on our State Chairman Dcns ( Mrs) P N YOUNG , our immediate past state chairman, AMB (Dcn) Monday O. lfoghere and the immediate past state Secretary, Mr Eric E Ejeh, the house unanimously agreed that the purported expulsion was an illegality, as she was not removed by a competent Authority of NAPPS, and the reasons for the action were baseless.”

According to the statement, “the house moved a VOTE OF CONFIDENCE on the NAPPS Delta State Chairman, Deaconess (Mrs.) Young P.N. and therefore resolved as follows:
1. That Dr. Akpeme, haven failed to tender an apology to NAPPS Delta State for threat language used in the CWC meeting held on 24th January, at Ozoro, and taking further steps to publish a memo to illegally expel an elected officer of NAPPS Delta State, without due Authority, NAPPS Delta State hereby suspends Dr. Ochuko Akpeme, of Classical Int’l Schools from the Association indefinitely.”
“Also, “That the other members, Amb. (Dcn.)M.O. Ifoghere and Mr. Eric Ejeh remain members of NAPPS Delta State.”
