DTSG Commences Sale Of 2024 Model Schools Entrance Online Registration Form

The sale of online registration form into any of the Seventeen ( 17 )Model Secondary Schools in Delta State has commenced and would end on Friday, July 12, 2024.
A statement from the Permanent Secretary in the Ministries of Primary and Secondary Education, Mr. Augustine Oghoro, on behalf of the State Commissioner for Primary Education, Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu and her counterpart in charge of Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu in the both Ministres of Primary and Secondary Education, urged interested candidates to apply into JS1, JS2, SS1 and SS2 classes respectively.
The statement advised candidates to purchase scratch cards from the field office of the Chief Inspectors of Education (CIEs) to gain access to the registration form online through the Ministry’s Portal: www.deltamobse.net.
It noted that scratch cards would be issued to any interested candidate on payment of Three Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N3,500) only at the CIE’s office, adding that the Model schools that were interested in selling scratch cards in their various schools could pick them up from the office of the CIEs in their domain and the Examination Department of the Ministry.
The statement explained that the entrance examination would hold on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in twenty one (21) Centres which included the Seventeen (17) Model Schools, West End Mixed Secondary School, Asaba, Utagba -Ogbe Grammar School, Kwale , Hussey College Centre II , Warri and Urhobo College Centre II, Effurun.

It stressed that candidates applying for admission into SS 1 must possess the Basic Education Certificate or would sit for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in addition to a pass in the Cognitive/Placement Examination while candidates applying for JS2 and SS2 classes must pass the 2024 promotion examination in their previous classes in addition to Cognitive/Placement Certificate and Basic Education Certificate respectively.
The statement further enjoined candidates to come to their examination hall with the original copy of the computer print out and writing materials including HB pencil.
