UAE Has Not Resumed Visa Issuance To Nigerians –FG

The Special Adviser on Information and strategy to President Bola Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, has debunked reports making round that that the United Arab Emirates, UAE, has announced the resumption of visa services for Nigerian citizens wishing to visit the country.
According to the media aide, “UAE has not resumed visa issuance to Nigerians.”
In a post on X, he added that “the document in circulation is not authorized either by the Nigerian government or the UAE.”

Recall that two years ago, UAE imposed a visa ban on Nigerians and automatically rejected pending visa applications.
