LG Polls: Agbarha Youths Root For Urhobo As Warri South Chairman

Ahead of the forthcoming local government council elections in Delta State, Agbarha Warri National Youth Council in Warri South Local Government Area has appealed for an Urhobo indigene of Warri extraction to be the next local government council chairman.
The was contained in a statement issued by the council ‘ s president, Mr Destiny Ekpebedafe and secretary, Comrade Kenneth Ugbokodo respectively in Agbarha Warri community of Edjeba on Wednesday 15th May , 2014 .
The statement noted that the reason for the appeal was because the local government council chairmanship and other positions in Warri North and Warri South West were shared by persons from ethnic groups.
The statement further revealed that the Warri indigenous Urhobos were more in population and size and should therefore be given the opportunity to produce the next chairman to run the affairs of the local government.

The youth body however pledged its unwavering support to the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori led administration and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
