Stating The Obvious Truth About The Candidacy Of Olorogun Jaro Egbo For Chairman, Ughelli North

EVEN IF INEC CONDUCTS THE LGA ELECTIONS, NO CANDIDATE FROM ANY OPPOSITION PARTY CAN STAND HIM, HE WILL WIN THE LGA ELECTIONS EVEN IF HE DECIDES TO SLEEP IN HIS BEDROOM ON THE ELECTION DAY.

Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc is not a go here, go there politician. He is a goal getter, a focused entity and an achiever. When the news broke out that His Excellency Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori has settled for Olorogun Jaro Egbo to fly the PDP ticket for Ughelli North Chairmanship position, I just shook my head and smiled.

Are you shocked? One may ask; is Jaro Egbo not bigger than being a Chairman of a Local government? Yes, I will tell you he is bigger than the chairmanship position and there was no lobby or even a phone call to the Governor to make Jaro Egbo the candidate of the PDP for Chairman Ughelli North. This was also why no PDP aspirant for the same position could cough when they all heard the news that shocked them.

The governor has only seen 2027 ahead and he knows that Olorogun Jaro Egbo will be a material to go against the APC for the House of Assembly seat come 2027 hence, let’s make him the Chairman of the LGA for him to make more name and popularity for the election to be a work over for PDP in 2027 and by so doing, while Jaro Egbo will deliver for his own House of Assembly seat in 2027, he will also do everything to deliver the governor.

Ask me if Jaro Egbo will deliver as Chairman, yes I will tell you for free that he will deliver and by so doing, the citizens will love him more. I can also beat my chest and tell you for free that, I have not seen any candidate the opposition wants to field that can stand Jaro Egbo either for the Chairmanship or in 2027 election.

I worked closely with him when he, Jaro Egbo contested for House of Assembly in 2019 under APC where he gave the PDP candidate then a big blow but unfortunately….. this is a story for another day of how he was not sworn in as member representing Ughelli North Constituency 11 in the Delta State House of Assembly.

Olorogun Jaro Egbo is an asset to any political party. He has street credibility. He has the financial capacity; he has the popularity; he is a man who goes for what he wants despite hurdles that he may face along the line.

The points I am trying to make is that, let my party, the APC or any other opposition party tighten their seat belts because Jaro Egbo won’t be an easy nut to crack. He will repeat what he did to the PDP in 2019 when he was in APC, when he served the PDP wotowoto in the election against Hon. Hon Prince Eric Oharisi but unfortunately, the reverse will now be the case since he is now in PDP and ready to serve the APC wotowoto.
