JUST IN: Gov. Fubara Orders Audit Of LG Accounts In Rivers
Governor Siminalayi Fubara, Rivers State, has mandated the Auditor General of the State to begin the audit of the accounts of the 23 Local Government Areas for the past three years.
Oasis Magazine reports that Fubara on Wednesday swore-in 23 Caretaker Committee Chairmen for the 23 Local Government Councils of the State.

While swearing in the Caretaker Committee Chairmen of the Local Government Areas, the Governor said the measure was to serve as a check for the incoming officials.
