The President General of the Urhobo Progress Union, Olorogun Ese Gam Esq, has affirmed that the Late Olorogun 1 Kenneth Gbagi was a significant employer of labour at the grassroots, national, and international levels.

The UPU leader, who spoke during the UPU’s condolence visit to the family of the late Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the last general elections at Oginibo town, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, described Gbagi as larger than life, given his positive impact on the lives of many through his achievements in the business world.

Addressing the late businessman’s children, Ese Gam said, “Your father is my brother. He was larger than life, and even now, his legacy continues to overshadow us.

“He was a remarkable man, which is why we sang the Urhobo song. We believe that even as we gather here today, he is still watching over us.”

He further revealed that the UPU intends to actively participate in the burial arrangements.

In response, the senior son of the late business mogul and political figure, Chief Emuobo Gbagi, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Urhobo Progress Union for the respect shown to the family through the visit.

On behalf of the children, he pledged to keep the UPU updated on the burial plans.
