Kano Governor Affirms Sack Of Kano Pillars Management, Board Members

Kano state governor, Abba Kabiru Yusuf has affirmed the sacking of the interim management and governing board of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL side , Kano Pillars.
The governor have affirmed the marching orders issued by the commissioner for youths and sports, Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso to the Babangida Little led KPFC management.
The chief of staff to the governor, Shehu Wada Sagagi, speaking to sports writers, Sunday evening in Kano, said concerning the sacking of the club management, commissioner Mustapha Kwankwaso did not act in any manner that contravenes the official position of the state chief executive.

He said “the commissioner for sports is the one supervising Kano Pillars, they have to be subordinated to him, what is always expected from him is to exercise due diligence at all times.
He said the state government has embarked on the reorganization process that will place the club, on the scape, where it can compete favorable amongst its soccer peers.
Sagagi, who represented the state governor at a sporting event, during the chat with sports writers, while speaking on the future of the club, said “the commissioner did not act without the approval of the governor,” saying “he has made his submissions to the governor and he is waiting for approval.”
