The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has said that its maintenance crew is set to carry out a scheduled preventive maintenance on a reserved bus isolator at Benin-Amukpe 132kV line bay.

Ndidi Mbah, GM (Public Affairs), said this in a statement on Monday night.

According to the statement, “the maintenance work will start on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm.”

The statement added that “consequently, there will be power interruption for six hours at Amupke Transmission Substation, preventing Benin DisCo from offtaking electricity to its customers in ADEJE, WOODLAND, INDUSTRIAL, MOSOGAR, SAPELE, ABRAKA and environs,” while apologising for the inconvenience this may cause electricity consumers in the affected areas.
