Commissioner Ebikeme Clark: New Ministry To Boost Riverine Community Development

Chief Ebikeme Clark, Commissioner of Riverine Infrastructural Development (RID), has stated that the establishment of the new ministry is aimed at accelerating infrastructural development in Delta state’s rural areas.
In response to questions from journalists, the former Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area explained that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is committed to bringing development to the riverine communities through the creation of the RID ministry.

“The Governor has expressed his determination to develop all parts of Delta state, and we urge the riverine communities to be patient as massive infrastructure development is coming to their doorstep,” Clark said.
“Our Governor is a man who matches his words with action.”
The Commissioner confirmed that work has already begun, with ongoing processes in place to drive development in the riverine areas.
