Delta: PDP Stalwart, Chief Agbomah Rejoices As Three Ebu Sons Get LG Appointments

A former House of Assembly aspirant and top political leader of the People’s Democratic Party in the Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Kenneth Ekitu Agbomah, has commended the Council Chairman of the LGA, Hon. Esewezie Innocent for recently appointing three sons of Ebu community to work with him at the Council.
Those appointed include Hon. Christopher Ejoh as Supervisory Councilor for Environment and Health; Hon. Afagwu Kemona as Special Adviser on Environment; and Hon. Kenneth Omani as a Board member on Health.
Speaking with newsmen in Asaba on Thursday, Chief Agbomah expressed his gratitude to the Council Chairman for finding the people of Ebu worthy to join him in actualizing his great plans to the Local Government Area.

While noting that the position of Supervisory Councilor had not been giving to an indigene of Ebu in the past 20 years in Oshimili North LGA, the PDP Chieftain assured Hon. Esewezie Innocent that the community will ensure that the appointee and the other two, take their jobs very seriously in order to ensure the success of his administration.
He said, “The great people of Ebu Ward 2 are very happy with the appointment of one of our illustrious sons, Mr. Christopher Ejoh who was recently appointed as the Supervisory Councilor for Environment and Health by the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North LGA, Hon. Esewezie Innocent.
“The jubilation and celebration became necessary because for the past 20 years, no indigene of Ebu has ever being appointed in such capacity. The entire Ebu community therefore, extend our gratitude to the Council Chairman for this great achievement that we have witnessed under his leadership.
“We are also thankful to the Chairman for appointing two other sons of Ebu community as his aides. This is the first time that we are getting these huge appointments from the Local Government, and we are so grateful to him for considering our community to partner with him to actualise his PUTA-IFE mantra for the LGA.”
Chief Agbomah further expressed his gratitude to the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for giving the Council Chairman (Hon. Esewezie Innocent) the enabling environment and moral support to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the area.
“On behalf of the good people of Ebu community, I want to say Thank You to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for giving our Chairman the platform to operate. I will say that we are lucky to have him as Governor of our dear state. He is a father and leader to all Deltans, and we will continue to pray for the success of his administration,” he said.
Meanwhile, shortly after his screening and swearing in ceremony, the Supervisory Councilor, Hon. Christopher Ejoh in company of Chief Kenneth Ekitu Agbomah; the incumbent Councilor of Ebu Ward 2, Hon. Paul Okai; and the other two new Local Government appointees paid a scheduled visit to the palace of the Onu umukuojordu of Ebu kingdom, HRM Paul Odilile Opili.
Speaking, Hon. Christopher Ejoh said he was at the Ebu palace to seek prayers and blessings from the traditional ruler, noting that he decided to follow the footsteps of his principal, Hon. Esewezie Innocent, who earlier visited the palace of the Igbuzor of Ibusa, HRM Obi Nwaoboshi for a blessing before embarking on the journey to the council.
On his part, the traditional ruler of Ebu kingdom, HRM Paul Odilile Opili, offered prayers for him to succeed in his new assignment in the LGA, while urging him to be a good ambassador of the community.
