Oborevwori Meets Urhobo Kings, UPU Leadership

Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori on Thursday hosted a joint delegation of Ukoko R’Ivie RUrhobo (Urhobo Kings)!and Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) leadership.

Oborevwori who disclosed this on Thursday in a post on X, added that the visitors were led by the Vice Chairman, Ukoko R’Ivie RUrhobo, HRM Solomon Akporhiere Onajeta Okukemen III, the Ovie of Arhavwarien Kingdom.

According to him, “the meeting focused on ongoing development strides across the three senatorial districts, our cultural heritage and values, security, and improving the quality of life for citizens.”

He continued: “I assured our royal fathers that the IDP Camp in Otor-Ewu would not be a permanent home for the Okuama people but merely a temporary phase, as the state government is doing its best to resettle the displaced persons.”

“I commended the royal fathers and other stakeholders for providing relief materials and palliatives to the people,” he concluded.
