Ukwuani 8th Assembly Approves Nominated Supervisors After Screening

Earlier today, the Ukwuani Local Government Legislative Arm screened and ratified the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede’s nominees for appointment as supervisors.

At the sitting of the house today, Friday, August 9, 2024, presided over by the Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Kenchoni Durell Ossai, other honourable members of the house were in attendance.

The screening and ratification of their appointment by the Ukwuani 8th Assembly were in pursuant to a memo forwarded to the house by the Executive Chairman in line with Section 61 of the Local Government Laws as amended.

Those screened and ratified for appointment include:

1. Monday Oluka
2. Chukwuemeke Okolo
3. Emu Ambrose
4. Jeffrey Opone
5. Richard Onyolu

The five appointees were introduced and presented by their ward councillors, who spoke highly of them when they were asked to appear on the floor of the house.
