3 Dead In Helicopter Crash Off Port Harcourt Coast, Rescue Teams Search For Survivor

Tragedy struck as a helicopter flying from Port Harcourt to an oil rig crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.
The Sikorsky SK76, with eight passengers aboard, was en route to the NUIMANTAN oil rig when it went down near Bonny Finima waters.
Three bodies have been recovered, and search operations are still underway to locate the five remaining passengers. No distress signals were picked up, but emergency teams, military, and low-flying aircraft are combing the area.

The Ministry of Aviation confirmed the incident, with Minister Festus Keyamo working alongside agencies to ensure swift rescue efforts. East Wind Aviation, the operator of the aircraft, is fully cooperating with ongoing investigations.
