DELSU Lecturer, Akarah, Escapes Assassination
The attempted assassination of Prof. Emmanuel Akarah has been reported to Oasis Magazine.
The brazen and disturbing incident occurred on Tuesday night.
Oasis Magazine learnt that the lecturer popularly known as Don Spino, was attacked by armed assailants at his Abraka residence.

The attackers fired gunshots for over 30 minutes, attempting to force entry into his room, and set the parlour ablaze.
According to a source, “thankfully, Prof. Akarah escaped with his life and is currently receiving medical treatment.”
Adding: “The wife and children are also safe.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during this challenging time,” he concluded.
