He acknowledged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms, which have improved Nigeria’s investment climate.

Governor Abiodun highlighted Ogun State’s strategic advantages, including its well-developed infrastructure, extensive landmass, and robust industrial base. He assured investors of seamless land acquisition, a reliable power supply, and a secure business environment.

The governor also emphasized Ogun’s alignment with President Tinubu’s policies on food security and economic diversification.

John Coumantaros praised the governor’s efforts in expanding infrastructure, which he said had boosted investor confidence.

He reaffirmed JBS’s commitment to assessing Ogun’s viability for investment and contributing to the country’s agricultural value chain.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Aisha Rimi, described the visit as a follow-up to earlier assessments by JBS, confirming that Ogun State would be among the key beneficiaries of the company’s investment over the next five years.

With this development, Ogun State is set to further solidify its position as Nigeria’s top investment destination, driving economic growth and food security.
