Emetulu Congratulates Avuru On His Appointment Into NNPCL Board

Says Appointment Is Akin To A Square Peg In A Square Hole

Hon. Charles Emetulu, Member representing Ndokwa-West State Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, has congratulated Dr. Austin Avuru following his well deserved appointment into Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) as Non-Executive Director (South South) by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria – Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

The elated lawmaker remarked that, Dr Avuru is a pride to Ndokwa nation in general and Abbi in particular.

He described Dr Avuru as a world-class oil and gas expert and a pace-setter with years of experience spanning decades in the Nigerian and global oil space thus his appointment into NNPCL Board is putting a square peg in a square hole.

“Sir, this is to congratulate you on your very well deserved appointment as Non-Executive Director (South-South) on the NNPCL Board. Apart from the appointment being that of asquare peg in a square hole, it is an affirmation and vote of confidence in your abilities as one of the key players in the nation’s oil and gas industry. Congratulations sir”.

Hon. Emetulu also seized the opportunity to thank His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander in-Chief of the Armed forces of Nigeria for finding their son worthy of the appointment into the exalted office.
